Welcome to our little secret hideaway hidden in the jungle just north of Ubud Bali !

Sudamala Villas is the ideal venue for family groups, yoga and sound healing retreats, and organic or permaculture workshops.

Nestled in a rainforest with spectacular views of Bali’s only active volcano Mt. Agung, our Villas are built in a fusion Balinese/Queenslander style using only sustainably sourced Ironwood (Ulin) and Bengkarai timber from Kalimantan.

You will learn the value of Slow Living amongst the peace and calm of raw nature, in the company of our little family of ducks, cows and cats.

Surrounding the Villas are our beautifully laid out Permaculture Gardens, designed around the ancient rice terraces and making extensive use of the traditional Subak water system

Our Villas back on to an unspoilt fruit forest packed with mango, coconut, cacao, coffee, rambutan and durian trees

With a spacious Yoga Shala/Dance Studio and strong connections in the local community, we specialise in creating unique experiences for our valued guests.

A beautiful villa with an equally great owner. Manik is responsive and attentive to his tenants. The location is great but plan to rent a scooter to get to Ubud. The villa was very clean with lots of amenities, perfect for a group of 6 people.

It was a very nice stay overall. Host Manik was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We loved the two adorable cats Happy and Lili who were very well behaved and affectionate. Expect about 3 minutes of walking from the car park to the villa. It’s a nice tranquil walk off the beaten path passing by a garden. I highly recommend this villa.

You’ll feel just like family staying here. I really enjoyed my stay. It was away from the traffic and noise of the busy town of ubud, but also only a 10 minute ride to the center of town. Great location. Staff is super friendly and helpful with local knowledge and tips of the area.
Everything worked great in the house inside and out, and the view from the deck was truly amazing.
Place can be hard to find on your own, but the owner is very good at giving you directions and meeting you out front. You would need to either walk or have a scooter to get to the house from the temple, but the walk alone is beautiful and only a five minute walk from the temple.
Overall, I’m very excited to stay here. Plenty of room and plenty to do for a group in a yoga studio was amazing.
I would highly recommend staying here if you would like a piece of mind in the beautiful nature of ubud and the mountains of Bali.
